Happy Easter!
I heard today on the radio that Willow Creek is estimating 35,000 people at their Easter services this weekend! Whatever you think of the emergent church, seeker-oriented services, or mega churches, you have to admit that 35,000 people hearing the message of Christ’s resurrection is a Very Good Thing. Sure, this message will be delivered with much fanfare, probably a rock band — some might say too over-dramatic. But think about it. We claim that our God took on flesh, lived as a homeless guy, preached a radical message, took on the religious establishment, was crucified for it, and rose from the dead 3 days later. How much more over-dramatic can you get? Of course, as Mrs. M-Mv found out, there’s drama, and then there’s drama.

Hi Gem!
Hope you are having a very blessed Easter! I wanted to thank you. I am going to church for the first time on Easter Sunday in my LIFE — and you are one of my good friends who helped me in making the decision to come back to church.
So thank you!
