My So-Called Homeschool

Many moons ago in a land far, far away, there was a girl who grew up knowing she was different than the farm kids around her. She didn’t fit into any of the pigeonholes she tried in school. Even though there was no drama program, she was a drama queen. She was sure she was destined for fame and fortune, but she knew better than to just run off to New York or Hollywood. She went and got a college education — in music and theatre — and planned to be a star. She had lots of music and drama friends, was in 3-5 productions a year, went on chorus tours to Europe twice, and then . . . she got married, got a job, did some community theatre had kids, and now homeschools. She loves it!!! BUT one of her college friends went to Illinois, got his BFA in theatre, went to England to study, came back, went to Hollywood and started working.
