Communion
I don’t do a lot of post about religion or theology — frankly, I don’t seem to have the time to flesh out the thoughts that race through my head and stream-of-consciousness rambling about God tends to get me into trouble, lol! But I was going through my RSS list today and Real Live Preacher has a wonderful post up about communion. I don’t always agree with his theological ideas, or his language, but this post is spot-on. What matters is that, at the end, you can say this:
Share ThisThen, when no one was left and all you could hear were the crickets, one small man would turn out the lights, lock the door, and walk alone into the parking lot. He would turn his face toward his beloved stars, wipe the tears from his eyes, and say, “We did this; and we remembered You.”
