The Furry Revolution Has Begun!
Posted by: | CommentsIt looks like the first skirmish resulted in human victory over at Goldie’s, but I’d keep an eye on any critters you may have residing in your home!
What the Lord Told Mark Phelps
Posted by: | CommentsDoesn’t make much of a headline does it? But what the Lord told Pat Robertson, that’s a story! Mark is a friend of my husband’s, they sing together in breadbox. I guess it takes a nutjob to know a nutjob, lol! I think I’d better stock up on blankets and snowsuits for this winter.
Oh, and just to clarify, Mark and I probably would both qualify as conservative, fundamentalist Christians. We still think Pat Robertson is a NUTJOB!

Dance Recital Week
Posted by: | CommentsIt’s going to be busy! Although if dress rehearsal was any indicator, not nearly so hectic as in the past. We’re at a new dance school and Miss J is ON THE BALL! It started on time, and ended early. Phenominal! Each class did their dance once and only once and there was no fidgeting with lights or sound. It was by far the best dress rehearsal I have EVER been to — and I was a theatre major and have done both professional and community theater. Impressive! Anyway, blogging will be down this week, but here’s an image to hold you over:

Happy Mother’s Day
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve had a wonderful day, and Hubby says I’m off-duty til midnight! He’s cleaned the kitchen (which I left with a sinkful of dishes last night – yikes!), tidied and swept the dining room, and kept the children at bay so I could nap and read a novel! On top of that, there were gifts and cards when I got out of the shower this morning.

These were awaiting on the dining table, in a very pretty gift bag. The book was particularly appropriate, as I love all things quilting and it had a quilt theme to it. I teared up at every page as I read some of the poems aloud to the children. I also love, love, love tea, and my family all knows it. But wait, there was more!!! My husband had the computer queued up to a couple of web pages, as the rest of my gift hadn’t arrived yet. I clicked the little boxes to find this:

. . . and this:
One really neat thing is that, of all the teapot sets on the original page, this is probably the only one that would have appealed to me. I actually had hinted a few months ago at a Brown Betty teapot, but my incredible husband actually knows me better than I know myself! This teapot is so me — pretty, but not overly frou-frou. As my love language is Receiving Gifts, he hit the jackpot this time!
From what I understand, Pink Pixie decided that I simply couldn’t have a teapot without teas and insisted that they buy me some along with my cards.
All in all, it’s been a wonderful day!!! I hope yours is as well.
Cute Kid Video
Posted by: | CommentsWell, once again, I can’t get the movie to imbed. Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I thought I had it figured out. Anyway, you can see my adorable kids at my YouTube site. I love when my hubby makes these little videos.
Stuff Portrait Friday
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve been seeing posts for Kristine’s SPF over at Going Places, and thought I’d jump right in. I’m no photographer, in fact this week I’m just grabbing some pics off my hard drive. I’ll try to get more creative next week! This week’s theme is TWO.
Something you have two of:
I have 3 children, two daughters. They are only 15 months apart, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Most of the time they are like this, inseparable. The rest of the time they’re bickering like cats and dogs!
Something you need two of:
I really need a newer picture of myself. I also need two of myself to get everything done around here!
2:
The 2 card from Disney Princess Uno (I did take this one today, I didn’t have a picture of a 2 just sitting on my hard drive, lol).
I Won, I Won!

My blog really doesn’t show it, but I’m a very, very sarcastic person. Ask my husband.
Why doesn’t the award look the same in the post as it does on the site? Click on the links to see the way it’s supposed to look.
