I am cracking up that i am leaving the answer to your question on this funny post!!
So far, my bags have sold fairly quickly and I have sold all the ones I have made (except for the ones I posted a few days ago). As far as pricing, I just pick a price for the style and stick with it unless I add extra pieces of fabric to it (more than one fabric on the outside of the bag). That way, I don’t have to worry about changing prices based on the fabrics that i use. Most of my fabric is in the $5.00-$8.00 per yard range but I have purchased on sale to $1.50 per yard and used that too–also I have used more expensive.
For me, this has been quite fun and I am happy with the amount of time I need to devote to it (it doesn’t take too much time away from homeschooling, family, etc.) so if your mom is looking for a hobby, this might be for her. She could also try selling to local shops or on Ebay.
Let me know if you have any more questions! I would also be happy to share patterns/tutorial links with her!
Me!
Hello! I'm a mom to 4 great kids, wife to an awesome man, secretary to some incredible ministers. Homeschooling, housewife, working mom, I bring home the bacon and teach the kids to cook it!!! Couldn't do any of it without God and my (did I say awesome already?) husband.
