So many thoughts, so little time to post
You know, I haven’t posted in over a week - but it’s not for lack of material. I get so many ideas, I just can’t focus my thoughts down to one post! Here’s some of the things running through my brain:
How can I get Monkey Boy to do his vocal percussion in front […]
Homeschool band needs votes!
One of our local radio stations, 89X, is having a Battle of the Bands and they’re down to the final three. Schaeffer is fronted by homeschooled brothers Bryon, Nolan, and Danny Rossi. They’re winning right now — barely. Click on over, sample their sound, and vote if you’re so inclined. You can […]
Oh, you homeschool?
How do your friends, family, acquaintances, and neighbors react when they find out you homeschool? Live blogging Veggies (a first for me!):
So far, silliness but no Biblical application. The Asparagus […]Church Bulletins
I’m sorry, I love these bulletin bloopers. If you figure that I’ve been going to church all my life, at 52 weeks a year for 30+ years, that’s a lot of bulletins. And still I haven’t seen them all! At least I didn’t forward it to (most of) you.
Weight Watchers will meet […]
Any problems with comments?
A friend of mine sent me an e-mail yesterday saying she would have left a comment but my Jesus Camp ad was blocking the post. I’ve viewed it in Firefox and IE, but it looks fine to me in both browsers. Anyone else having trouble?
Haircut Day Again
I always have this compulsion to post pictures when the kids get haircuts — it’s always such a transformation from “Are you going blind?” to “Oh, you DO have eyes!”. I got mine done, too. I haven’t posted a picture of myself to this blog yet, but haven’t had one taken I […]
