It’s pink!
I got my Mothers’ Day gift today! Squid was working so many hours the week of Mothers’ Day, he didn’t have time to take the girls shopping. So, amid lots of whispers and “Nothing’s going on, Mom, really”, they went off this morning and came back with this:
Then I spent the next three hours trying to get the dang thing set up!!! For some reason, iTunes wouldn’t recognize the iPod. Finally, I just gave up in tears and swear words. Squid reloaded the program and of course it worked just fine. Whatever. I have an iPod now!!! I don’t have many CD’s, so now I’ll have to buy some music. Attention family!!! I have a birthday coming up in a couple of months and the iTunes store has gift cards.
Tee-hee-hee. I have an iPod!!!

Technology responds to my husband in the same way. I can mess around with something for an hour, and then he walks in and fixes it in 30 seconds.

May 20th, 2007 at 9:02 pmA pink I-pod, eh? Very cute! My hubby got one recently and he was having a hard time downloading from the internet. He was just about to “lose it” when my daughter asked him if he needed help. She then proceeded to download his songs in about, oh, 2 minutes. It was too funny!
My email won’t let me send out my response to your question about the baby carrier, so I will leave it here in your comments:
Hi Jema,
I have thought of making baby carriers, but I don’t even know where to start. I have never used a carrier, so I don’t know how they are shaped or even worn. Do you know of a pattern that I could use? If so, I could make one from the pattern and you could choose the fabric that you like. Let me know!
