Tackle-it Tuesday (and Wednesday)

UPDATE:  Reprieve!  After tackling the dining room all morning — boy does it look good! — Squid decided that there is just too much to do.  We really should put the new sink in the bathroom and there’s lots of yardwork to do as well.  Anyway, it’s postponed until the 19th, so LOTS of time to get it all done.  HOWEVER, this means that I must deny my proctastinator side or I’ll end up in the same fix on the 17th, lol!!!

Oh, boy, do I have a lot to tackle!!!! The girls had their dance recital this past weekend (posts with pictures coming), so we were basically out of the house Friday night through Sunday afternoon with church Sunday morning. Imagine my surprise when I finally listen to phone message Sunday afternoon and hear “Hello, this is Barb from ******. We are contracted to come appraise your home for PMI removal. We will be arriving Monday, June 4, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (I guess they’re like the cable guy). AAARRRGGGHHH!!! Yeah, that didn’t happen. So far, every task I’ve finished has taken me double the time I estimated. And the girls have been working on their room since 10:30 a.m. — still not done. Squid is actually home tomorrow morning, so he’ll help out then. I don’t have before pictures of all the rooms, but the ones I do have, I’ll update on this post when we’re done.

See ya Thursday afternoon!!!

UPDATE: I am so screwed.

Wow, that’s a lot to tackle! Good luck! Oh, and congrats on your big news!

We will be coming back home by way of Michigan. We’re planning on hitting the Henry Ford Museum south of Detroit, I think.

You better take it easy! I mean it! Don’t overdo it. I’m tackling the girls’ room today and it has already taken me 2 hours. At least another hour to go.

    Good luck!

Be careful and don’t hurt yourself or get too tired. That is a lot of stuff in a little time. One idea…after this is all over, keep your list and do a FEW of these things each day (like, yeah I do that!) ha Good luck
