My So-Called Homeschool

About this time four years ago I was holding my brand-new baby boy!  After the girls went past their due dates, I decided to do an induction this time.  No good reason, the dr was on call that day and would be at the hospital all day.  I had been having some prodromal labor, but nothing consistent yet, so we decided to go ahead and do it.  I was one of the lucky ones — no complications beyond excruciating pain.  I am NOT doing an induction this time.  Anyway he’s four today!!!  I have been praying for this day — three was a challenging year.  It’s not an overnight behavior change, but I am seeing his ability to understand and make better choices in a way that he couldn’t do even a month ago.  At least that’s what I’m telling myself.  It has been fun having a few hours a day to ourselves while the ‘girlies’ are at school — I’ll have to try to find some time like that even when we bring them home.

I can’t find my camera cord (WAH!), so here’s a camera phone picture from August.  He doesn’t look THAT different.  I’ll try to take a pic tomorrow and update.
