My So-Called Homeschool

Pink Pixie found an old preschool workbook that she had used a couple of years ago and got Monkey Boy all hyped about it.  Mostly he wants to scribble in it with markers — he is not remotely interested in actually learning letters.  BUT he did ask if he could practice his letters in bed last night and took the workbook and a ballpoint to bed with him (anything to get him to actually STAY in the bed!!!).  So, when he came running downstairs saying “Mommy, I’m 4!”, this is not exactly what I was expecting:
