Hi Jema- we have been looking for you for a long time! I am the daughter ( Susi) of your former babysitter, Kathleene Turk. My parents are still living and we would just love to find out about you and your family. If you have time- please e-mail me at susiturk53@yahoo.com. My niece sent me what you had sent her and I called Mother right away. She and daddy are so excited to hear anything about you. You were such a big part of our family when you were a baby until your family moved off to Kansas- I think. In fact we kept you when your twin sisters were born. We moved to Lufkin in East Texas in 1972- I think you were about 2 or 3 then. You used to come and stay with us for 2 weeks at a time. You called my parents Mama Turk and Daddy Buck. We loved you like our own!Anyway- as it worked out, my parents bought your Mother’s house there in Houston even! So we definitely have a lot of ties and would so love to find out about you.
Take care,
Susi
Hi Jema- it’s me, Susi again. I remembered your birthday, July 3. And I was right- I did find a picture of you in the powerpoint that Buzzy did for Mother and Daddy for their 50th anniversary. I told you we have never forgotten you! Also- I have been reading your blog and who is Jasmine? Hope I haven’t scared you off. Mother and Daddy had to go to my sister’s because of the hurricane. She is showing them the pictures and e-mail you sent me on her computer. I know they will just be thrilled! You do look a lot like what I remember your mom Sherry looked like. Hope you have a great weekend and hope to hear from you soon.
Love,
Susi
Hello! I'm a mom to 4 great kids, wife to an awesome man, secretary to some incredible ministers. Homeschooling, housewife, working mom, I bring home the bacon and teach the kids to cook it!!! Couldn't do any of it without God and my (did I say awesome already?) husband.
I’d take the batteries out while she was sleeping
