My So-Called Homeschool

Squid needs to learn a song, “I’m Holding On to You” by Paul Coleman.  It’s from the album “Let It Go”.  iTunes has it listed as a partial album — there are 11 songs on the album and they have 10 of them available.  Guess which one is NOT available to buy on iTunes???  I am assuming that since it is not available as a single, it wouldn’t be there if we bought the whole album (which sounds like it’s pretty good).  Aaargh!!!  I’m pretty new to iTunes, we just listen to CD’s we’ve uploaded to the computer, so I’ve never done this before.  Are there any other sites where I can buy single MP3’s?

One of our local radio stations, 89X, is having a Battle of the Bands and they’re down to the final three. Schaeffer is fronted by homeschooled brothers Bryon, Nolan, and Danny Rossi. They’re winning right now — barely. Click on over, sample their sound, and vote if you’re so inclined. You can vote once per day through Sunday, but then the voting’s over. I really like their sound, in fact I clicked through to their Myspace site and ordered their CD. It’s a more classic rock sound, whereas the competition is a little too grunge for my taste (do they still call it grunge? I’m getting old!). Anyway, check it out!
